Diversity and Inclusion Statement

Learning on Graphs Conference, 2023

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

The Learning on Graphs Conference deeply cares about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our community. We welcome participation from all people, regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, experience in the field, gender identity, nationality, physical appearance, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. Our Code of Conduct (link) further details rules that aim to prevent discrimination based on these protected characteristics.

We hope that the virtual venue and free registration for our first iteration will allow members of our community to participate in the conference regardless of geographical location or financial concerns. We are also communicating with members of affinity groups to enact measures and plan events that actively support DEI. Please contact us at logconference@googlegroups.com with any comments or suggestions; we welcome any feedback about DEI, and we will take seriously any concerns about DEI brought up to us.

We took inspiration from the DEI statements of: ICLR 2022, NeurIPS 2022, ICML 2022.
